A screw is a commonly used connecting element with a linear shape, usually machined by cold heading machines or lathes. The production of one word screws is usually carried out by both cold heading production and turning production.

A word slot screw manufacturers in the cold heading production of a word screw, at first will use an extrusion machine with a head of a section of steel pressed into the two ends of different diameters of a long rod, to become a word open enclosure screw blank, and then in the cold heading machine for molding. When processed on the cold heading machine, the steel blank will undergo several cold extrusion molding and cutting process to form the threaded part of the one word screw.

A word slot screw manufacturers in turning production of a word open-enclosed screws, at first is the first lathe to process the entire word screws of the strip or blank (also known as the mother material), and then in the lathe for thread turning. When machining on the lathe, the workers will use screw cutting tools to machine the threaded part of the one screw.

In terms of appearance, a cold heading produced one screw will be uneven at the edges, while a turning produced one slot will have a more beautiful appearance, though it will also be more expensive.

In general, cold heading production is suitable for producing large quantity of one word enclosure screws, with the advantages of fast, one-time molding, etc.; while turning production is suitable for small batch or customized production of one word screws, according to the demand for flexible adjustment of processing parameters, processing of high-precision thread shape.
